The NDIS: New territory for Service Providers

On 1 July 2016, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (known as the NDIS) was introduced around Australia. The NDIS is considered to be a major reform to the way in which disability care and support is funded. Before the NDIS, government funding went directly to disability service providers, resulting in people with disabilities and their families with little choice and control over their healthcare decisions. With the NDIS however, government funding no longer goes to the disability service providers, but instead to the client. This means people with a disability can now choose the providers they want.

I must start by stating that we are not a marketing agency, and that we do not offer marketing strategy as a service. We are a design agency, but have learnt over the years that strategy is a very big part of what we do. Our passion is to shape brands for organisations that make a difference, and as an agency our focus is the execution of a brand across design-focused channels.

We love what we do at Forge and we pride ourselves in having a vibrant workspace, a second home, where we enjoy going every day (all 92,120 hours and counting) and where we can have fun while we work.
